  • Leeds Castle

    Leeds Castle is a castle in Kent, England, 5 miles southeast of Maidstone. It is built on islands in a lake formed by the River Len to the east of the village of Leeds.

  • Herne Bay

  • Howletts Zoo

    Set up as a private zoo in 1957 by John Aspinall. The animal collection was opened to the public in 1975. To give more room for the animals another estate at Port Lympne near Hythe, Kent was purchased in 1973, and opened to the public as Port Lympne Zoo in 1976.

  • Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway

    Since 1927 the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway has been an integral part of the landscape of the Romney Marsh.

    Known as “Kent’s Mainline in Miniature”, our world famous one-third full size steam & diesel locomotives have powered their way along the 13½ miles of track from the Cinque Port town of Hythe, terminating in Dungeness

    A Victorian lighthouse on the South Foreland in St. Margaret’s Bay, Dover, Kent, England, used to warn ships approaching the nearby Goodwin Sands. Built in 1843, it went out of service in 1988 and is currently owned by the National Trust.

  • St Margaret’s Bay

It first appeared in the Domesday Book as “Sancta Margharita” with continuing history revolving around its location.
